a year agoThe staff and musicians at this piano bar are amazing. I have been coming here for a year and it is a great community of vocalists and pianists partaking in open mic karaoke. The bartenders are professional level singers that sing throughout the night and serve delicious cocktails. If you come here and every worry is not melted away by the talented staff and customers then you may be dead inside. I can’t emphasize enough just how much I adore this amazing establishment. Thank you Don’t Tell Mama for your amazing staff and service!

Ben and Vee are excellent hosts and wonderful performers, they will leave you on the edge of your seat with their stunning voices and wonderful conversation. Andrew the piano player is excellent and kept the room entertained. Thanks for making yet another wonderful memory, see y'all next trip!

7 years agoDon’t Tell Mama is one of my favorite bars in downtown. We love the owners and the bartenders are super nice and pour great drinks! Michael Spadoni is one of our favorite pianists at the bar. He’s super funny and has an elevated sense of humor. 10/10 on Don’t Tell Mama. Definitely recommend visiting!

6 months agoGreat staff, great music, great prices. People are going to the cats meow and nerdbar (which are great in their own rights) but are missing the real gem hidden here. live piano music which isn't crowded is so hard to find near Fremont.

4 years agoAn amazing time of live music, generous drinks, and bar tabs that made sense to a Midwesterner! Kenny was amazing. So very talented and easy going with a crazy drunk but engaged crowd.

2 years agoI stopped in on a Friday evening and had a great time. The piano player was fantastic and the singing bartenders, waiter and audience made for a super fun evening. Definitely going back next time I'm in Vegas

a month agoLoved this bar! My husband and I came for a fun and nice atmosphere. When one of the bartenders dung Love Song I loved it so much I almost jumped up out my seat. Will be back.

3 months agoI came to Las Vegas for the “When We Were Young” concert and ended up having one of the most unforgettable nights of my life — completely by surprise — at Don’t Tell Mama. We were walking near Fremont Street and actually heard this incredible voice all the way from Denny’s. We literally followed the sound to find out where it was coming from — and that’s how we met Nate. I’ve been to countless concerts and seen artists I grew up listening to, but I have never heard a voice like his. His vocals were unreal — so much emotion, soul, and passion in every single note. It honestly hit me harder than anything I heard at the entire festival. On top of being insanely talented, Nate was so genuine and professional. He took the time to talk with us, explained how everything worked at the bar, made us feel so welcome, and even helped us pick drinks. He made me the best espresso martini I’ve ever had (I think it had Baileys in it — whatever it was, it was perfect). The pianist and other bartenders were also amazing singers — every single person in that place had serious talent. It felt like a full-on show happening right in front of us, but in the most relaxed, intimate setting. Don’t Tell Mama is the biggest hidden gem in all of Las Vegas. The energy, the vibe, the people, and the music — it’s like nowhere else on Fremont. If you want to experience real talent, powerhouse vocals, and affordable cocktails in a fun, welcoming atmosphere, this is the spot. I can’t wait to come back to Vegas to go back to Don’t Tell Mama and see Nate perform. I know he’s going to do big things — he is beyond talented. I give this place five stars because it deserves every single one.

a month agoWe usually spend most of our time on the Strip when visiting Las Vegas, but on our last night this trip we decided to check out Fremont and we’re so glad we did. We stumbled across Don’t Tell Mama, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our visit. This isn’t your typical karaoke bar. It’s a true live music venue run by genuinely talented, seasoned musicians and singers who run the show, with the occasional opportunity for the crowd to participate. The result is a refined, high-energy vibe that feels more like attending a great live performance than enduring the awkward, off key karaoke scene you find elsewhere. A special shoutout to Nate Love, his awesome powerful voice absolutely filled the room. Performance after performance, he delivered with confidence, control, and real artistry. We were completely blown away by his talent. Don’t Tell Mama is now firmly on our must visit list whenever we’re in Vegas again. If you’re looking for great music, real performers, and an elevated nightlife experience off the Strip, this place is a gem.
